Fresh and cozy setting defines interior of Mexican fusion restaurant designed by PPT Interiorismo
Casa Coyote is a a Mexican fusion restaurant based in the neighborhood of Poble Nou in Barcelona. The interior was designed by studio PPT Interiorismo.
“The reformation has placed its focus on transforming the place in a warm and cozy space. The lights with natural colors and the warm colors of the wood and the tiles make of Coyote a rustic place. The lighting is different for each area. The facade of the local is made entirely of glass and to control the incidence of sun light curtains were disposed. In the bathroom area fair lights and carton cactus designed by Alex Dominguez decorate the space with humor recreating the desert landscape. The different shaped and sized mirrors create a depth effect. The furniture from Francisco Segarra is informal with a vintage touch, giving the feeling of a lived place in tune with the antique cantinas. The disposition of the place aims to generate different spaces: round tables, a long bench and a large table of green tiles. The Estrella Damm beer boxes are used as stools. Freshness, versatility and coziness define the place as these seats can be easily moved and adapt to the needs of the client and can also be used as storage for clothes, bags or other accessories. On the inside of the bathroom, the walls are decorated with a paper with a cactus pattern from Batabasta,” explains PPT Interiorismo
