Dmitry Reutov creates apartment inspired by natural colors of Mexico in Manhattan

Dmitry Reutov Interior Design was approached to renovate a Manhattan-based apartment situated in a house built in the early 20th century. The owners of the apartment completely entrusted Dmitry Reutov with the design concept.

“The owners of the apartment completely entrusted me with the design of the apartments. I was inspired by the natural colors of Mexico. Bright architectural elements of Mexico. I wanted to convey the feeling of the southern sun and natural colors. To the room filled with the smell of flowers and natural accents in a creative interpretation. We decided to create a bold project that will give you the opportunity to forget about the gray days and help you to relax from the noisy metropolis. Light, gentle, slightly heady interior. Terracotta-pink walls lend originality to the entire design. An abundance of rich natural shades of green created a truly ultra-modern and unique interior. Carrying us to warm countries. Filling the air with the smell of flowers and making the apartment tasty not only for the eyes, but also for life,” explains Dmitry Reutov
