A Peek Inside Catch & Release Restaurant in Los Angeles
Catch & Release is a seafood restaurant dedicated to the preservation and purity of ocean to table dining. Catch & Release is located in Los Angeles’ Marina Del Rey District and its interior was designed by architecture & interior design firm Studio Unltd.
“In designing Catch & Release (Marina del Rey, CA) we were tasked with transforming a restaurant to accommodate a New England Seafood concept. The space was designed and turned around to accommodate a tight schedule and an even tighter budget. The design is inspired by Chef Jason Neroni’s memories of growing up in Maine fishing with his grandfather. Rustic wood panelling enhanced with batten molding and painted wood shingles envelop the dining room and set the tone, while details of nautical ropes and pops of bold color add a bit of seaside New England flavor. Large zinc tables not only provide for a fun social evironment but offer a great area for customers to enjoy the occasional shrimp boil. The memory wall near the plaid banquettes further expresses Chef Neroni’s love of family and community,” says Studio Unltd
